About Me
I'm Meagan, and I’m here to help you make the most of the time you have left, no matter your circumstances.
The last thing my Mom, Jackie, said to me was: "Unburdened."
It's what she planned to name her company, which would provide psychological and emotional support for the dying.
She passed away Feb 23, 2024, and my family and I were saddened at the lack of psychological and emotional care and support for terminal patients in Canada.
As my mom lay in bed for 28 days, slowly fading away before our eyes, we felt lost without any guidance or tools to navigate this surreal and heartbreaking experience. She struggled to cope with the anguish of knowing her time was running out while my father watched on, helpless. None of us knew how to celebrate her life or address any unfinished business.
As a certified coach and someone who has spent the better part of the last decade creating programs and services in personal development, I quickly felt called to enter the field of death coaching to fill a significant need in my country.
I have recently begun my journey as a death coach, starting with Death Doula training led by pioneer and international expert Henry Fersko-Weiss. Although I am new to this field, I feel called to offer my services. I cannot bear the thought of someone like my mom going through this difficult time without the necessary tools, methods, and exercises that could provide support.
I’m a certified coach with a psychology degree and a Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) diploma. For over a decade, I’ve researched human behavior, resilience, and the science behind thriving despite life’s hardships.
In our work together, you’ll receive tailored coaching that empowers you to thrive in your current chapter, using evidence-based tools and strategies grounded in resilience science, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. You can develop the skills and mindset to embrace your journey with courage.
I’m here to support you in turning every moment into an opportunity for growth, meaning, and self-discovery. Let’s work together to create a path through this time that reflects your unique story and empowers you to live fully—no matter what time you have left.
