What is a Death Doula?

Death Doulas are trained professionals who care for the dying, providing non-medical support. We are here to support you through your final journey.

Death is a reality we all face

How We Go About This:

Reach out with any questions and book a complimentary consultation.

Identify what you need at this time. You decide what support looks like.

Support can change as needs change. Services are optional and adjustable.

As a Death Doula, I Will:

  • Be There to Listen:

I will provide exercises for processing fears, regrets, anger, and other difficult emotions.

  • Honor Your Life:

We will find ways to celebrate your life and cope with death: guided imagery, rituals, interactive journaling, engaged life review, and legacy messages.

  • Simple Physical Care:

I will actively tend to your physical comfort. I will provide light restorative touch, arm and leg spa treatments, and find ways to enhance the beauty of your surroundings.

  • Support and Planning:

I will help you create an advance directive (healthcare wishes), while also attending to life issues faced in dying.

The meaning of life is that it ends

Meagan trained with Henry Fersko-Weiss, former Executive Director of the International End-of-Life Doula Association (INELDA).

After the sudden loss of her mother, Jackie, Meagan recognized how limited end-of-life support can be for families in the Lakeland region and committed to helping close that gap.
